UPDATE: we have exceeded our Sock Drive goal with over 12 HUNDRED pairs of socks + other necessities for the unhoused of Houston, Texas!
Thank you to everyone who donated, the volunteer I spoke to said they really needed sock donations and clients were asking for new socks but the shelter didn't have any. Thanks do your donation, now they do!

For my Birthday this year, I wanted to give back to our communities by hosting a sock drive for the Cold Feet Warm Hearts non-profit, focused on clothing the homeless in my resident city of Houston, Texas.
Did you know socks are the most requested item by homeless shelters? Yet they are also one of the least donated items.Rain-soaked feet, ill-fitting shoes, constant standing and diseases like diabetes take their toll on the feet of homeless people. Fresh, clean (and yes, even white socks) can make all the difference in a person's health.
